Watch: Democrats face on the issues in primary for Congress from District 6

Two of three candidates for the Democratic nomination for Congress from Illinois' 6th District met with the Daily Herald Editorial board to discuss issues in the race.

The race is particularly affected by redistricting and pits two incumbent congressmen against each other - Sean Casten, the current 6th District representative, and Marie Newman, currently representing the 3rd congressional district. Both were on hand for the Zoom interview. Candidate Charles M. Hughes was not available.

The primary election is June 28. Early in-person voting begins at local polling places on Monday, June 13.
