Elgin Rotary Club collecting donations for humanitarian aid in Ukraine
The Elgin Breakfast Rotary Club is soliciting donations to aid in the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.
"Our club has already expedited support valued over $5,000," club President Mike Warren said. "You can trust that 100% of your donation will go directly to humanitarian relief in Ukraine directly through Rotarian clubs on the ground, where it is most needed."
Warren said needed items that will be provided include diesel generators, field hospitals, water disinfection units, medication and more.
Donations can be made online through a secure PayPal site at www.bit.ly/Ukrainedonation or checks can be sent to the Elgin Breakfast Rotary Foundation at PO Box 851, Elgin, IL 60121.
