District 117 hires new superintendent

A Roselle educator has been hired to lead Antioch Community High School District 117 beginning July 1.

Jeff Feucht, superintendent of Lake Park High School District 108, recently was selected from among 25 candidates to replace the retiring Jim McKay, who has been with District 117 for 22 years, the last 12 as superintendent.

Feucht also worked in Glenbard Township High School District 87 in Glen Ellyn for 11 years, including eight years as assistant superintendent for educational services. He began his career as a high school English and social studies teacher in Elgin Area School District U-46.

The Park Ridge resident is on multiple boards in DuPage County in the areas of career and technical education, workforce development and special education.
