Holocaust Remembrance Day service Wednesday in downtown Aurora

Temple B'nai Israel in Aurora will host an outdoor public Yom Hashoah Holocaust Remembrance Day service at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, at the Millennium Plaza gazebo on Stolp Avenue in downtown Aurora.

Rabbi Edward Friedman of will lead the service. Weather permitting, candle lighting will be included. Admission is free.

 

Yom Hashoah commemorates the 6 million Jews murdered in the Holocaust, and the heroism of survivors and rescuers.
