Naperville police chief holding Chat with the Chief

Naperville police Chief Jason Arres will be holding an informal Chat with the Chief next month.

Community members are invited to visit Starbucks, 1979 McDowell Road on the northwest side of Naperville, between 6 and 8 p.m. May 4.

There will be no formal presentation and no agenda. The goal is to create a relaxed atmosphere for an informal conversation. Residents are encouraged to stop by at any time during the two-hour event, which will include free coffee from Starbucks.

"I'm really excited to host my first official chat as chief of police, and I hope a lot of our community members come out to discuss crime trends, ask questions or just say hello," Arres said.

Chat with the Chief is typically held several times a year at different locations throughout the city. For more information, visit naperville.il.us/npd/chatwithchief.
