Aurora art exhibit focuses on Child Abuse Prevention Month

To increase awareness of April as Child Abuse Prevention Month, the Paramount School of the Arts hosts an art exhibition curated by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services and the nonprofit charity Prevent Child Abuse Illinois.

Works by youth who are, or have been, in the care of the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services are featured. There are also art pieces by students and other supporters who care about the health and safety of children.

The exhibition runs from Friday, April 1, through Saturday, April 30, at the Paramount School of the Arts at 20 S. Stolp Ave., Aurora.

For more exhibit information, contact the school at (630) 896-6810 or visit paramountaurora.com/school. The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services' child abuse hotline is (800) 252-2873.
