Buffalo Grove man arrested on drug charges after confrontation with police

A Buffalo Grove man was arrested early Saturday after police investigating a complaint of a suspicious person discovered he had illegal drugs while at a business in Des Plaines, a news release said.

Daniel Farrell, 30, of the 200 block of Weider Road, also threatened employees at the business and fought with police, the release said.


The confrontation occurred about 4:30 a.m. on the 1500 block of Rand Road.

Farrell is charged with possession of methamphetamine, resisting or obstructing a peace officer, possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct and assault, police said.
