Kane County courts to go mask-optional

Starting Monday, people do not have to wear masks when visiting any Kane County court, Chief Judge Clint Hull has announced.

People may wear them if they wish, unless a judge asks them to remove it while they are testifying.

People may still be denied entry to a courthouse if they have flu-like symptoms, have been directed to quarantine by a health care provider or public official, or live with or have close contact with a quarantined person and are not themselves fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
