Former Lombard trustee running for DuPage County Board
Lombard resident and former village trustee Reid Foltyniewicz has announced his candidacy for the DuPage County Board in District 4.
The district includes Wheaton, Glen Ellyn, Carol Stream, Lombard and Glendale Heights.
Last year, Foltyniewicz completed an 8-year tenure as a Lombard village trustee. On the board, Foltyniewicz chaired the Finance & Administration Committee and the Public Safety & Transportation Committee. He also was a 2021 candidate for Lombard village president.
Foltyniewicz is a 16-year veteran of the Oak Brook Police Department, rising in the ranks from a patrol officer to detective to patrol sergeant and now administrative sergeant.
