Preserve near Oak Brook will host Romantic Night Walks this weekend

The DuPage County Forest Preserve District will host its Romantic Night Walks at Fullersburg Woods Forest Preserve near Oak Brook from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 11 and 12.

The 1- to 3-mile self-guided walk with your friends or loved ones is along a lantern-lit path that meanders through an oak forest. Stationed along the way are historic shelters, fire barrels and scenic bridges over Salt Creek.

The Romantic Night Walk is $10 per person and is open for ages 18 and up. In accordance with health guidelines, all visitors regardless of vaccination status must wear a mask that covers the nose and mouth when inside forest preserve buildings and in crowded outdoor settings.
