Hoffman Estates hosts self-compassion workshop Feb. 12

The Hoffman Estates Health and Human Services Department will host a self-compassion workshop 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 12, at village hall, 1900 Hassell Road.

The in-person event, held to mark National Self-Compassion Month, will examine what is self-compassion, why it is important and powerful, and how individuals can build self-compassion.

U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines will be followed to ensure the safety of all attendees.
