Korean Cultural Center in Wheeling to open special exhibit Saturday

The Korean Cultural Center of Chicago in Wheeling will hold a special exhibition beginning Saturday to celebrate Lunar New Year.

The exhibition aims to show the beauty of the natural wood grain of traditional Korean furniture donated to the center throughout the years.

To comply with state COVID-19 saftey guidelines, visitors must bring proof of vaccination to enter. The opening reception at 5 p.m. Saturday will be limited to 30 guests, so reservations must be made by emailing event@kccoc.org or calling (847) 947-4460.

The exhibition will be held until Feb. 12. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p, m. Saturday. The center is located at 9930 Capitol Drive in Wheeling.
