Ex-husband kills woman, himself, Naperville police say

Naperville police say a woman was shot to death Tuesday by her ex-husband, who then killed himself.
Police were called at 7:30 a.m. to an apartment complex in the 1300 block of Crab Apple Court. Special response and crisis negotiations teams blocked off the area. Neighbors were notified to stay in place.
Police could not contact anyone in the apartment, and when they entered it, they found the injured woman. She was pronounced dead at a hospital.
They also found the body of her ex-husband, a Michigan resident. It appears he shot himself to death, according to police.
Police have not released the names and ages of the man and woman.
