Clark running for reelection to Lake County Board
Lake County Board member Jennifer Clark of Libertyville announced this week she is running for reelection next November.
Clark, a Democrat, represents the 15th District, which includes Libertyville and portions of Mundelein. The newly redrawn district will also include the northern part of Vernon Hills as of December 2022.
Clark was elected in 2018 and is a member of the county board's financial and administrative and public works, planning and transportation committees. She is an adjunct assistant professor of economics at Carthage College in Kenosha and has a law degree.
She said the county board has held the line on property taxes, invested in infrastructure and implemented a robust response to help communities during the pandemic.
