Old McHenry Road near Hawthorn Woods and Long Grove closing Nov. 8
The Lake County Division of Transportation will be closing Old McHenry Road in the Long Grove and Hawthorn Woods area to through traffic for 14 days starting at 7 a.m. Nov. 8 for a culvert replacement.
The road is scheduled to reopen in the late afternoon of Sunday, Nov. 21.
A detour will use Quentin Road and Route 22. Local traffic will have access on Old McHenry from Quentin Road east to Hawthorn Drive and from Route 22 northwest to Darlington Drive.
The work zone will be closed to all traffic.
