Haunted Trail & Bonfire in Lindenhurst
The Lindenhurst Park District is hosting Haunted Trail & Bonfire from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, at Forest View Park, 513 Forest View Drive, off Millburn Road west of Route 45.
The event includes treats, bounce house, face painting, food trucks, games, prizes, entertainment, a balloon artist, juggler and more. Wagon rides will be from 3 to 7 p.m. A kids costume contest will be held at 3:30 p.m. The Haunted Trail is from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. and 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Entry for the wagon rides and haunted trail is a $1 or a nonperishable food item per person to the Lake Villa Township food pantry. A bonfire with free hot apple cider will be held at dusk.
