State Rep. Tom Morrison hosting vitual town hall Wednesday

State Rep. Tom Morrison, a Republican from Palatine, is hosting a Virtual Town Hall on Wednesday for residents in his 54th District to talk about state issues and garner feedback from constituents ahead of fall veto session.

The event will begin at 7 p.m. and can be viewed live Morrison's Facebook page or on his website,


Residents in the 54th District are encouraged to tune in and submit questions they have in real time, or send them in ahead of the event to

"With the upcoming veto session quickly approaching, I want to hear from local residents about topics important to them and answer any questions they may have," Morrison said in an announcement of the event. "This is an opportunity for me to be accessible to everyone in our community; to hear concerns and listen to feedback on state issues. I look forward to having meaningful conversations and welcome all who can to tune in."
