Two apartments damaged by garage fire in Naperville
Two apartments in a Naperville complex were declared uninhabitable after a fire Monday morning.
Naperville firefighters were called at 9:46 a.m. to the 2900 block of Kilburne Lane for a garage fire in a two-story, 16-unit building. All residents had evacuated.
The fire was extinguished in 15 minutes.
The two apartments had fire and smoke damage.
One firefighter sustained a minor injury while on the scene, officials said. No other injuries were reported.
