Garage fire put out by Naperville Fire Department

The Naperville Fire Department put out a garage fire Tuesday afternoon.

At 3:13 p.m., a 911 call reported smoke in the attached garage of a home on the 700 Block of Hayle Court, a department news release said.


Within minutes, fire personnel were on the scene and quickly extinguished the fire that was contained to the garage, according to the release. The fire department said the home was still habitable.

No injuries were reported, and three pet cats were rescued from the residence, the release said.

The fire department said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
