'Shark Tank' star Daymond John to speak at Elmhurst University

Original "Shark Tank" TV star Daymond John is set to speak on diversity in business at Elmhurst University.

John presents "Diversity: A Good Business Practice" as this year's Elmhurst University Roland Quest Lecture in the Hammerschmidt Memorial Chapel, 190 Prospect Ave., Elmhurst, at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23.

John is the founder and CEO of the FUBU lifestyle brand and recently wrote his book "Power Shift." John will do a book signing following the lecture.

Admission is $15 but free for Elmhurst University students, faculty, staff and alumni.
