Fire damages Carol Stream warehouse Sunday
A Carol Stream packaging and warehouse operation was able to reopen after a Sunday afternoon fire damaged the building's roof.
Fire protection district officials said they were called to the business on the 200 block of Kehoe Boulevard at 3:19 p.m. for reports of fire on the roof of the building.
The blaze was extinguished within 15 minutes of arrival. No injuries were reported.
The point of origin was located on the east side of the roof, but the cause remains under investigation, fire officials said.
After an inspection, the building was deemed habitable.
