Palatine library ready to show off its renovated first floor
The Palatine Public Library will celebrate the end of its Summer Reading Program, and the opening of its renovated first floor, with music and a dance show from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday.
Visitors can tour the first floor and see the updated story rooms, children's area, teen area, and marketplace of popular materials, as well as The Workshop, which features a variety of technology and equipment available.
There will be a Reading Colors Your World Storytime from 1:10 to 1:30 p.m., crafts for kids and adults, and music and dancing from the Hungarian Dance Troupe.
The main library is located at 700 N. North Court in Palatine.
