Free movies at Des Plaines park
The Des Plaines Park District will host free movie showings this summer at the Lake Park Memorial Pavilion, 2200 Lee St.
Movies will begin rolling around dusk each night.
"Onward" will play Friday, July 23. "The Croods: A New Age" is set for Aug. 6. "Tom & Jerry" will play Aug. 20.
The gatherings are sponsored by the Des Plaines Optimist Club. The club will begin popcorn sales at 7 p.m. each night.
