Warren-Newport library seeks candidates for board vacancy

Applications are being accepted to fill a vacancy on the Warren-Newport Public Library District board.

The library board will hold interviews and make an appointment for the two-year unexpired term, which ends in May 2023.

Applications are due by Friday, July 16, to Jo Beckwith, President, Board of Trustees, Warren-Newport Public Library, 224 N. O'Plaine Rd., Gurnee, IL 60031.

Trustees meet monthly and must reside in the library district and be registered voters. They serve without pay.

The district includes all or most of Gurnee, Wadsworth, Park City, Wildwood, Grandwood Park, Old Mill Creek, Grayslake, Millburn, Lake Villa and Waukegan.
