Motorcyclist dies after crash in Des Plaines

A Skokie man died Tuesday after his motorcycle collided with an automobile in Des Plaines, authorities said.
Raymundo F. Laguit, 56, was fatally injured about 6:50 a.m. on the 1700 block of Oakton Street.
Laguit was headed west on Oakton when he collided with a vehicle pulling out of a driveway onto eastbound Oakton, police said.
Rescue crews tried to save Laguit's life and he was taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, where he was pronounced dead.
Des Plaines police are investigating. Witnesses are asked to call police at (847) 391-5400.
