Exchange Club of Naperville donates $25K to Edward Hospital's Care Center
The Exchange Club of Naperville has donated $25,000 to support the Care Center at Edward Hospital, which provides medical services for children and special-needs adults who may have been sexually abused.
The Naperville hospital has been the recipient of nearly $860,000 from the Exchange Club since 1991, according to a news release. The nonprofit, which hosts the area's annual Ribfest, has raised and donated millions of dollars toward its mission to eliminate child abuse and domestic violence.
Exchange Club President Jerry Kochurka recently presented the check to Brett Skeen, executive director of the Edward Foundation, which supports the hospital's community health care initiatives.
