Long Grove fire leaves home uninhabitable

A single-family home caught fire in Long Grove Thursday, officials said.

The Long Grove Fire Protection District responded at 1:52 p.m. to the 3100 block of Cuba Road. When firefighters arrived, they saw flames coming from the roof, a news release said.

The fire left the home uninhabitable. There were no injuries to firefighters or residents, who evacuated the home.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
