Naperville police arrest Chicago woman on 6th DUI charge

Bail was set at $100,000 Saturday for a Chicago woman charged, for the sixth time, with driving under the influence of alcohol.

Wanda Richardson, 52, will need to post $10,000 to be freed. She was also charged with driving while license revoked.

Naperville police arrested her at 6:56 p.m. Saturday at Bond Street and Diehl Road. Police say she tried to make an illegal U-turn and was seen trying to buckle her seatbelt. Police say they found an open bottle of vodka in the front passenger seat. The bottle was about two-thirds empty.

Richardson was on parole for a 2015 conviction for aggravated DUI, according to the DuPage County state's attorney's office.

If convicted, she could be sent to prison for six to 30 years.
