Helen Plum Library to mark National Library Week

Helen Plum Library in Lombard will join with libraries across the country to celebrate National Library Week from April 4 to 10.

This year's theme is "Welcome to Your Library," and it promotes the idea that libraries extend beyond the walls of a building. The American Library Association is encouraging people to think of library workers adapting to meet their community's needs by offering services virtually or safely in person during these challenging times.

The Lombard library is limiting services and operating hours due to the COVID-19 pandemic, though it plans to extend opening times starting April 8. For information, visit helenplun.org.
