Candidates sought to fill 19th District Lake County Board seat
Candidates are being sought to fill the vacant District 19 Lake County Board seat, which covers Lake Zurich, Barrington, Deer Park, Kildeer and portions of Long Grove.
The vacancy was created with the recent resignation of Craig Taylor, who is moving out of state to be closer to family.
The appointee will serve until the next general election, Nov. 8, 2022. Applicants must be at least 18, live in District 19 and be registered to vote in Lake County. Submit a resume, letter of interest and supporting material like a letter of recommendation to countyboard@lakecountyil.gov, or via mail to Sandy Hart, Lake County Board office, 10th Floor, 18 North County St., Waukegan, IL 60085. The deadline is 5 p.m. Friday, March 26.
