Warren-Newport library building reopens

Warren-Newport Public Library has reopened the library building at 224 N. O'Plaine Road in Gurnee after a limited closure due to COVID mitigations this winter.

Since March 1, Grab and Go browsing of collections, limited 15-minute express computers, contactless pickup, phone, email and chat reference, as well as contactless printing, are just a few of the services offered. Masks and social distancing are required for library visits.

Hours are Monday to Thursday, noon to 6 p.m.; Friday, noon to 5 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Hours are subject to change depending upon conditions. Patrons planning a visit to the library building should call (847) 244-5150 or visit wnpl.info to determine the most up-to-date information about hours and services.
