No injuries in Naperville motel fire
No injuries were reported in a fire at a two-story motel in Naperville Tuesday night, authorities said.
The Naperville Fire Department responded to the 800 block of East Ogden Avenue around 7:20 p.m. and found a motel room on the second floor was on fire, according to a news release.
Everyone in the motel was evacuated, and firefighters stretched a hose line to the second floor. Crews extinguished the blaze in 10 minutes, preventing it from spreading to the rest of the motel
No one was found inside the room, which is now uninhabitable, the news release said.
The Naperville Fire Department is still investigating the cause of the fire.
