Four libraries host virtual visit with children's author Derrick Barnes

Four local libraries are hosting a virtual visit with children's author Derrick Barnes from 4 to 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, March 3. This Zoom program is intended for children from preschool to third grade.

Barnes is the award-winning author of "Crown: An Ode to the Fresh Cut" and "I Am Every Good Thing."

 

Hr will discuss his writing, tips on becoming a writer, share a reading, and discuss his most recent picture book and host a Q&A session.

Sign up via your library website. It is presented in partnership with Carol Stream Public Library, Gail Borden Public Library, Glenside Public Library and St. Charles Public Library.
