Watch candidates for Des Plaines mayor discuss downtown, pandemic response
In Des Plaines, former 8th Ward Alderman Michael Charewicz, 6th Ward Alderman Malcom Chester and 8th Ward Alderman Andrew Goczkowski are running for a four-year term as mayor in the April 6, 2021, election.
The trio met with a representative of the Daily Herald Editorial Board in a video recorded interview to discuss issues facing the city.
Term limits prevent incumbent Matthew Bogusz from running again.
