Virtual forum to feature Naperville council candidates March 9
The League of Women Voters of Naperville is hosting a virtual candidate forum next month for the 11 candidates seeking four open seats on the city council.
The event is scheduled for 7 p.m. March 9 via Zoom. The forum is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
The video also will be streamed live on the League's Facebook page and will be available afterward on its YouTube channel.
Candidates running for Naperville City Council seats include incumbents John Krummen and Benny White, as well as Paul Leong, Vasavi Chakka, James Haselhorst, Ian Holzhauer, Jennifer Bruzan Taylor, Allison Longenbaugh, Vincent Ory, Lucy Chang Evans and Mark Urda.
Questions for the candidates must be submitted to lwvnaperville@gmail.com by Feb. 21.
