Arlington Heights group saying 'Thanks a Latte' to front-line workers

SchwabeGroup, an Arlington Heights - based team of real estate professionals within @properties, is offering free coffee drinks to medical personnel, first responders and front-line workers during a "Thanks A Latte" event from 8 a.m. to noon Friday, February 12.

Anyone who shows a badge or ID at Around Cafe, 28 E. Northwest Highway in Arlington Heights, can pick up a free drink from the coffee shop.

"This past year has been so incredibly challenging for our front-line workers," SchwabeGroup Team Leader David Schwabe said in an announcement of the event. "My team wants to provide a little thank you to the heroes in our neighborhood while supporting a local coffee shop."

Schwabe came up with the idea for "Thanks a Latte" after hearing stories from his daughter, who is attending nursing school and has been working as a CNA during the winter and summer breaks.
