$100 to give to a woman fighting cancer

Today's recipient of a $100 bill through the Believe Project is Sylvia Rudolph of Huntley.

Here is an excerpt of her story:

"My request is for a very special friend. She has been fighting cancer for over 10 years and continues the battle. She has endured numerous medical tests, rounds and rounds of chemotherapy, long stays in rehabilitation places. Also, while fighting for her life, she also was taking care of her husband. She fights with all her strength and optimism.

"The $100 gift would recognize her immense battle with cancer. A trophy to her endurance, her comfort and hope to patients she mentors."
