Survey on Arlington Alfresco available until Monday

Arlington Heights has launched a survey seeking public feedback on last summer's Arlington Alfresco outdoor dining zone, and whether to keep it in the future.

The online survey, issued by the village's department of planning and community development, asks respondents their overall opinion of the concept, any concerns they had, what assets it brought, and if they'd like to see it return in 2021 or permanently.

Village officials said if Alfresco were to become a permanent feature of the downtown, several modifications to operations and physical aesthetic improvements would need to be considered.

The survey, at surveymonkey.com/r/AlfrescoSurvey, is available until 8 a.m. Monday.
