Mobile COVID-19 testing in Kane and Lake counties

COVID-19 mobile testing units managed by the Illinois Department of Public Health will be in Lake and Kane counties this weekend.

The testing will be available 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at Round Lake High School, 800 High School Drive, in Round Lake, and Sunday at Dundee Crown High School, 1500 Kings Road, in Carpentersville.

Testing is free and open to all regardless of symptoms. Individuals should bring their insurance card if they have one. But insurance is not required.

Specimens will be collected using a simple nasal swab. Drive-through and walk-up testing are available at most locations.
