Three charged in armed robbery Sunday in Aurora
Two men and a teenager are charged with armed robbery stemming from a holdup during a drug deal Sunday on Aurora's far east side, police said.
According to Aurora police, officers called to a parking lot at 3:15 p.m. Sunday at the Fox Valley Mall met with victims who said robbers pointed guns at them and stole their cellphones, marijuana and a vehicle.
The vehicle later was found in another lot at the mall, police said.
Davarious C. Sykes, 19, of Aurora, and Deshaun Williams, 21, of DeKalb, were arrested Monday night, police said, and a 16-year-old from Aurora was arrested Tuesday night.
Bail was set Wednesday at $75,000 apiece for Sykes and Williams. They will need to post $7,500 bond to be released from the DuPage County jail while awaiting trial.
The juvenile is being held at the Kane County Juvenile Justice Center, police said.
