State Rep. Mussman soliciting ideas for legislation

With the opening of the 102nd General Assembly and a new legislative session approaching, state Rep. Michelle Mussman, a Democrat from Schaumburg, is encouraging residents to share their ideas for potential new laws.

"Our families and communities have been facing unique struggles throughout the pandemic, and it is critical that the state government steps up to offer support," Mussman said in a news release. "To help develop smart solutions to these issues, I encourage residents to share any thoughts or ideas they may have to help those facing hardship during this time or to help increase efficiency."

Bill ideas can be submitted via email to Mussman's district office at StateRepMussman@gmail.com.

Mussman represents the 56th House District, which encompasses portions of Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Elk Grove Village, Hanover Park, Roselle, Rolling Meadows and Palatine.
