In light of a rising number of COVID-19 cases, DuPage County will be opening a second drive-through testing site, the DuPage County Health Department said Saturday.

The testing site will be at the Odeum Expo Center, 1033 N. Villa Ave. in Villa Park. It will open Monday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. or until the 600 daily test limit is reached.

It will be closed Thursday through Saturday for the Thanksgiving holiday. Then it will be open Sunday, Nov. 29, through Dec. 4.

Anyone can be tested, and no appointment, doctor referral, or insurance is

required. Visitors are encouraged to register at

testdirectly.com/dupage, but registration does not guarantee testing or a place in line for that day.

As of Saturday, DuPage County had 37,588 confirmed COVID-19 cases, with nearly 20,000 being confirmed since the beginning of October, the health department said.
