Palatine library increases open hours

The main branch of the Palatine Public Library at 700 N. North Court in Palatine is increasing its open hours during the week and will be opening Sundays starting next week.

The new hours will be 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 12 to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Masks are required when visiting any library location. Patrons are asked to make sure their masks fits properly and covers their mouths and noses.

Library staff members also are available remotely to answer questions and help patrons with things like searching for jobs, learning new technology, or start genealogy and research projects. Visit palatinelibrary.org/services/appointments and fill out the form to get started. Staff will contact you to make an appointment.
