Libertarian candidate to join 6th District congressional debate
Libertarian congressional candidate Bill Redpath of West Dundee has been added to the guest list for an upcoming debate featuring the Democrat and Republican candidates running for the suburban 6th District seat, Redpath's campaign announced Wednesday.
Hosted by WBBM 780-AM and Crain's Chicago Business, the event is scheduled for 7 p.m. Oct. 3, and will air live on the radio station. Incumbent Democrat Sean Casten of Naperville and Republican challenger Jeanne Ives of Wheaton already were scheduled to participate.
The 6th District includes parts of Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake and McHenry counties.
