Apply for open seat on Fremont library board

Fremont Public Library District Trustee Lauren Jackson has resigned, leaving a vacancy on the Mundelein-based panel. Jackson and her family are moving, officials said. The remaining trustees will appoint a district resident to serve until the April 2021 consolidated local election. Candidates must be at least 18, registered voters and residents of the library district. Applicants should send a letter of intent and a resume to Director Scott Davis, Fremont Public Library District, 1170 N. Midlothian Road, Mundelein, IL, 60060. The application deadline is Oct. 2.
