New Mount Prospect library trustee appointed

Kristine O'Sullivan has been appointed to the Mount Prospect Public Library board, officials announced Thursday.

The appointment is to the trustee position previously held by the late-Jacqueline "Jackie" Hinaber. The term runs until April 2021. The board reviewed five applications for the open position.

 

O'Sullivan has 20 years of experience in communications and member engagement for professional associations. She is the manager of event communications for ISACA in Schaumburg, a global association for information security and cybersecurity professionals. Her professional work experience also included positions at the American Health Information Management Association in Chicago and the American Osteopathic Association in Chicago.

She volunteers with Association Forum, currently serving as vice chairwoman of the SmartTech conference planning committee. O'Sullivan received a Forty Under Forty award from the association in 2016.
