Warrant Township nonprofit to discuss child success during the pandemic

Healthy Communities, Healthy Youth of Warren Township will host a panel discussion on preparing children for success in challenging times Thursday, 6 to 7:15 p.m., over the Zoom platform. The discussion will include how to create a sense of security for children, how parents can understand the impact of traumatic stress, how to help children build resilience and coping skills, as well as information on community resources. The panel will include representatives from Gurnee-area school districts and other institutions specializing in mental health and child development.
