Learn about dragonflies through online Fremont Library event

Learn about the unusual life cycle of dragonflies and damselflies in an online program from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1. Cindy Crosby, an author or contributor to more than 20 books, will discuss the mystifying migratory habits, myths, superstitions and struggle for survival of the creatures. Participants also will learn how to attract dragonflies to their gardens. Registration is required. Visit https://fremont.libnet.info/event/4526189. The program is presented by Wild Ones, a nonprofit promoting the use of use of native plants in partnership with Fremont Public Library in Mundelein.
