Long Grove resident added to Stevenson High School board

Long Grove resident Fei Shang has been appointed to fill a vacancy on the Stevenson High School District 125 board, officials announced.

She replaces Sunit Jain, who resigned last month, and will serve until the April 2021 election.

Shang has served as a member of the Stevenson Community Foundation board and as a finance committee member, and has been active in Kildeer Countryside School District 96 as well.

Shang is a Senior Investment Consultant at Aon Investments USA, Inc., and author of several research publications.

"Not only will Fei's professional skills be invaluable on the board, she has clearly demonstrated a strong and continuing commitment of volunteerism to the Stevenson community and our students," school board President Steven Frost said in an announcement of the appointment. "It's a perfect fit."
