Browser may affect Kane County ballot request

Officials at the Kane County Clerk's Office say a web browser issue might be affecting people's ability to request a mail in ballot at kanecountyelections.org/votebymail.

Supervisor of Elections Raymond Esquivel said the Safari web browser has caused some people problems, but internet Explorer and Googe Chrome have not had issues. People having problems may call (630) 232-5990 to ask for help.

More than 40,000 mail-in ballots have been requested for the Nov. 3 election, compared to around 10,000 in the November 2016 election, Esquivel said.
